kg 'Mandatory liability insurance for dangerous cargo carriers
Since February 12, 2009 the Law of the Kyrgyz Republic No. 188 as of 04.08.2008 “On mandatory civil liability insurance of dangerous cargo carrier” entered into force.
Who must conclude an agreement of mandatory insurance?
Agreement on mandatory insurance shall be concluded by individual persons and / or legal entities, carrying out transportation of dangerous cargo and using a transport vehicle therefor. Insurance agreement is concluded separately for every cargo transport vehicle. Sum insured under the insurance agreement depends on class of dangerous cargo and carrying capacity of the cargo transportation vehicle, except for railway transport, and cannot be lesser than stipulated minimal sums insured, according to the following table:

Liability limit for the risk of life and health of third persons damaging is 300 000 KGS per one person.
For the railway transportation a united minimal volume of sum insured is fixed for all the classes in the amount of 12000 000 KGS. at that the basis for calculation of the insurance premium for a unit of railway transportation locomotive carrying out cargo transportation is accepted.
Insurance rates
Basic insurance rates for all the types of transport vehicles is 1%.
Period of the Agreement
Period of Insurance period is concluded in written on the insurance policy for 12 months term.
