Loss (damage) of the vehicle as a result of the fire

Dear customer of the Alma-Insurance company!

In case of loss (damage) of a vehicle as a result of a fire, YOU SHOULD NOT:

• Panic, remember that your vehicle is insured.
• Change the picture of the incident (change the location of the vehicle; destroy other evidence that proves a fact of illegal actions).
• Decide whether to evacuate the vehicle without first consulting with representative of Alma-Insurance.
• Make a decision to pay for repair services without preliminary consulting with Alma-Insurance representative.

Actions in case of loss (damage) of the vehicle as a result of a fire:

1. Take measures to extinguish the fire, immediately report the incident to the bodies of the fire service on tel. 101 and continue to follow the recommendations of firefighters.
2. Immediately declare the incident to the Emergency Commissioner (Claims officer) Alma-Insurance .
3. Not later than 3 (three) business days, from the date of the occurrence of the insured event, to provide Alma-Insurance with a written notice (notice) with a detailed description of the circumstances of the occurrence of the insured event.
4. Obtain a certificate from the fire department indicating the cause of the fire and the decision (if the investigation materials are sent to law enforcement agencies - a document from these bodies) and forward them to Alma-Insurance.
